We are so incredibly grateful for everything that Jo Ann did to make our big day absolutely perfect. Planning an Indian wedding can be overwhelming but she made the entire process feel smooth, thoughtful, and truly personal to us. My husband Abhi and I were beyond happy with the vendors she helped us craft together. Each one was a perfect fit and brought our vision to life beautifully. Her attention to detail and calm, organized energy made the day-of experience completely seamless. We were able to be fully present and soak in every moment without stress and it was all thanks to her and her coordination with her counterpart Joy. If you’re looking for someone who understands the importance of cultural traditions, communicates clearly, and brings a warm, professional presence to every step of the planning process, Jo Ann is your person to go to. We couldn’t have asked for a better planner!

Wow, what a difference working with Apropos made! My wedding night would not have been the same without Brittany and Jo Ann. I opted for the day-of coordination package, and so I did a lot of the prep work myself, but both ladies were always available to answer my questions along the way. Their Aisle Planner tool was a great checklist for me to stay on track and maintain my sanity. Even doing much of the planning myself, I couldn't have imagined in advance how much work Brittany would actually end up doing day-of, but she was a superhero! Every mini-fire that popped up, she was ready for. She was calm and collected, and took everything that was thrown her way. Her presence gave me the chance to enjoy the day/night without any worries. From the things I asked for, to the things I didn't even know to ask about, she kept things running smoothly. Jo Ann even made an appearance during setup, and it felt like a friend jumping in to lend a hand. Great ladies, I can't say enough good things about my experience working with them! If you're not sure if you need a planner, I'm telling you it's worth it, and you'll be so glad you did!

Just do me a favor - hire them. How do I even start or even explain the pure perfection Jo Ann and Joy provide? I am a Type-A person, and I live with a constant motto: "If you are going to do something give it a 100%, or don't bother wasting your time on it." Jo Ann and Joy took my motto to heart, exceeded my expectations, and made my wedding process much easier. My family had an ongoing joke that I'd be a bridezilla and be miserable throughout my wedding, but somehow, these ladies helped me keep my cool and ensured my dream wedding came to life. These women were much more than just my wedding planners, by the end of the process they became my friends, and I think every couple needs that type of people in their corner. Wedding planning is stressful, especially when you plan a traditional Hindu wedding. Jo Ann and Joy tackled my traditional Hindu wedding with such grace and professionalism that my 7 event wedding was a literal breeze. I had nothing to worry about because no matter what time, day, or what they were doing, if I had any questions, concerns, or all of the above, these ladies happily were there to take on every obstacle I had. I never felt like I was being annoying, a burden, or just asking for too much. They made it so easy to trust them with their job, and they were on top of everything. On top of that, my brother and literal family became so fond of these two as well. We have an ongoing statement now that whatever family wedding happens, we are hiring Jo Ann and Joy with no hesitation. I will constantly vouch for their work. Trust me, your wedding day will be so much better with these two around. They go above and beyond to fulfill not only the couples wishes but families too, and they are pros at handling fires. Every fire I had throughout my wedding week, these ladies literally put it out with a smile. They are wonderful people, and wonderful planners. They really care about the work they do, and it vibrantly shows. To my future married couple, save yourself the struggle and time - just hire them. I need you to trust me. Jo Ann and Joy can handle it all.

Oh my goodness - where to even start with this review! Jo Ann was absolutely wonderful to work with. She was incredibly knowledgable, organized, and a true force - which is exactly what we needed. We booked Apropos for month-of coordination and it was truly one of the best wedding decisions we could have made. There were just so many little details that my husband and I would have n e v e r thought of, that Jo Ann and Joy were on top of. They were so communicative with us and with our other vendors. They always had answers for our questions and solutions for anything that would come up unexpectedly. They were truly so genuine and caring and it made us feel secure and confident that everything would come together flawlessly. They listened to our vision and never pressured us to go a direction that we didn't want to, but at the same time were always honest which we really appreciated. Jo Ann and Joy had such positive energy and we're so grateful to have had the honor to work with them. Honestly, we recommend Apropos 100%!!

We spent over a year planning a predominantly DIY wedding on our own, and 3 months away we lost our venue! We frantically called half a dozen wedding planning services for help, but Jo Ann at Apropos Creations was the only one we could get in touch with. She was so sympathetic to our situation, and dropped EVERYTHING to help us find someplace that was a good fit for our wedding plans (not easy!)... all while effortlessly reassuring me and keeping me focused on the immediate goal: find a venue, worry about everything else later. After about 15 minutes with her, I was calmed down, laughing and much more optimistic - PLUS, we ended up with a new venue that was perfect for us!! Highly recommended - THANK YOU JO ANN!!

If you are looking for a wedding planner in Arizona, Jo Ann is by far and away the absolute best! My wife and I are from New York but fell in love with the idea of having a multiple-day Indian wedding in Arizona. However, we knew absolutely no one in the area. After speaking to different venues and vendors in both Phoenix and Tucson, one name always came up…Jo Ann Grant! She is universally respected across the state and with good reason. Jo Ann is the perfect mix of professionalism, personality and care for her clients. She is incredibly responsive and able to tackle all challenges and complexities that arise throughout the wedding planning process with ease. I am the type of person to ask a million questions and to request answers around all considerations I may have before making a decision. However, Jo Ann continuously kept us at ease with answers to our questions and thoughtful suggestions, making the decision-making process that much easier. We are incredibly grateful to Jo Ann for doing everything she did to make our dream wedding a reality. Jo Ann ensured every detail had been thought through and that everything was coordinated to our liking. She helped facilitate numerous brainstorming sessions with us to ensure we received all relevant info and were aware of all potential options while also ensuring we were able to incorporate all of our desired details to all of our events. My wife and I could write multiple pages about all the great things we have to say about Jo Ann. We wholeheartedly recommend Jo Ann for your wedding planning needs. With Jo Ann on your side, you can rest easy knowing you have the best team working to ensure your wedding weekend will be as amazing as possible!

Team Apropos: To say that you are life changers is the understatement of the decade. From planning a wedding, to canceling a wedding, to finding a courthouse in 24 hours, to replanning an entire wedding during a pandemic surge, you and your team have supported us with constant reassurance and optimism. And, we did it! The entire weekend was even more than we could have expected it to be. We would not have been able to do this successfully without your persistence, diligence and contagious optimism. It’s been an absolute pleasure working with you, and we wish you all the best. Would recommend this team in a heartbeat!

If you are looking for your own personal wedding superhero you need not look further...with Jo Ann at Apropos Creations you have found the right person and then some!!! From our initial consultation phone call to the final song at our Indian wedding reception Jo Ann operated at the highest level of professionalism and excellence. She was constantly on top of everything we needed for our wedding...to the point where we suspected she might have cloned herself a few times...but we're not complaining. Jo Ann amazed us with her vast network of connections in the wedding industry in the valley. She frequently went out of her way to advise us on budgeting for our wedding as well as different ways to DIY various aspects of our decorations etc. She even transported décor items herself! Jo Ann even extinguished problems and issues that we as a couple weren't even aware of! This amazing woman also put up with a bride and groom that are BOTH working in the healthcare field who have insane difficult-to-work-with schedules! She would have conference calls with us at 9am on weekends or 8pm on weeknights after we had gotten off work! She was ALWAYS only a phone call or text message away regardless of the day or time. On our wedding day right before our reception we discovered that Jo Ann can even read minds: she showed up to the bride's room with essential oils, a glass of wine, and a shoulder massage to put all her worries to rest! Jo Ann truly puts all of herself into what she does and she has an amazing passion and commitment to excellence of her craft. She was our Wedding Wonder Woman, and she made the wedding of our dreams become a reality. Thank you for everything Jo Ann!

There are not enough superlatives to describe JoAnn and Apropos Creations! Hiring Joann as our wedding planner was the best decision we ever made. Our wedding was multicultural (Hindu/Buddhist) and consisted of multiple events that took place over an entire weekend. We had no idea where to start and were taken aback by everything that needed to be done in order to carry out our vision. After meeting JoAnn for the first time, we knew that she was the wedding planner for us. Her knowledge of multicultural weddings, Indian weddings in particular, blew us away. Planning a wedding weekend for over 300 people can seem a bit daunting, but JoAnn was able to help us throughout the process. We had to stick to a strict budget due to the size of the wedding. Joann was able to not only meet, but far exceeded our expectations. She previously worked with our photographer, videographer, DJ and decorators so she was able to truly capture what we had in mind for our special weekend. During our wedding JoAnn took care of everything and anything that needed to be attended to. She was there to guide everyone into their places and made sure that everyone stuck to the timeline. JoAnn and her staff were so attentive to our needs, getting us meals between events and taking care of possible problems that may have sprung up. She executed our vision better than we could have imagined. We keep getting compliments from our guests about her professionalism and letting us know how smooth our wedding went from each transition event to event. We can’t thank JoAnn and her staff for everything they have done in order to make our wedding a truly unforgettable experience.

We used Jo Ann and Apropos Creations last year for our major manufacturing Tech Summit here at CyberSmart in Chandler, AZ. Her planning, preparation, food, and cost were top-notch. I would highly recommend her for your events.
